Yes! And thank you! I painted the front bumper this past weekend. I like how it looks with the white. I'm going to do the rear bumper too Just haven't had the time yet. Also going to wrap my mirrors and do something with the door handles.
I'm not planning to race. Just wanting to have better acceleration. I also do 95% city driving, hardly no hwy so with these 3.21 gears, I'm getting around 12-13 mpg. If I'm going to get that low of gas mileage, might a well have a little seat in the pants experience when I hit the accelerator :D
That's good news! What about a tune after the gears are installed? Do these trucks require a tune or does the computer re-teach after its driven a while?
Hey guys, my truck has 3.21 gears but I'm wanting to swap to 3.92. I'm a Mustang guy so swapping the ring and pinion is a common thing on those cars. Does anyone know if these Ram trucks are the same? Can I just buy a 3.92 ring and pinion set and have it installed? My truck is a 2wd btw. 5.7...
I just started painting my chrome this past weekend. Got the front done and have to say I think it looks really good. Also installed a black grill. Still need to paint my rear bumper and wrap the mirrors and door handles but it's starting to come together! Here's a couple of pics.
I have the Harvest truck and love it! Lots of options for the price. Got mine on sale for $35k back in March. And the Harvest does come with a 1" lift from the factory. I parked next to my friends 2018 4x4 Sport Night Edition and we sit at the exact same height, front and rear. Mines a 2wd.
I...
We shouldn't have to spend $100 bucks for specialty oil for a Ram truck, in hopes that the expensive oil might quiet the noise. Seriously, it's a truck with a V8. Not a high end sports car with high performance engine. Truthfully we should be able to run what the mfg suggests and that should be...
When it does it, mine usually does it on a cold start, but has also done it when the engine was already hot, stopped for a while, then start the warm engine again, and it would tick for a second or 2. But it doesn't do it in either situation every time. Completely random when it decides to tick...
I know this has been posted time after time, but I'm feeling frustrated that my brand new 2018 Ram is ticking. It doesn't do it every time I start the engine, but when it does, it ticks for about 2 seconds, then the noise goes away. But once the engine warms up, I can hear a constant ticking...
Aerospace 303! That stuff is awesome. I coated the plastic pieces on my bumper, step rails and bed caps 4 months ago when I got my truck and they all still look deep black and new. Spray it on and just let it dry naturally. The next day it will look incredible.
