    Looking for a New 2019-20 ram 2500 6.4L

Yes 4:10. That’s not any different than I got with my 16 which had 3:73.

Not beyond what the computer tells me. Worst without a trailer is 13mpg. Best is 17.7mpg

    Looking for a New 2019-20 ram 2500 6.4L

I went from a 16 with 3.73 to a 19 with 4.10. I’m glad I did because when I pull something, it’s heavy. But the biggest change is the transmission. I probably would have been happy with the 3.73 and the 8 speed, but 4.10 increased my towing capabilities. As for gas mileage, not sure sure...

    Lifter Replacement.

The lifter issue seems to run between multiple model years. Some report that after having lifters and or cams replaced, the issue comes back. That tells me the issue is a design flaw, not a parts flaw. Until Chrysler addresses the design flaw, throwing parts at it is just a bandaid. Sent...

    Lifter Replacement.

I did create a call back from the dealer because I gave them a 4 on one of the questions. I explained that it had nothing to do with the service I received, I was simply trying to get Chrysler’s attention. The lady gave me Chrysler’s customer number and said I should call it and log a complaint...

    Lifter Replacement.

Nice, good luck with the replacements. My dealer told me, and I agree, he can throw parts at it, but it won’t fix the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Did they fix the lifters on newer 4th Gens?

But there’s no difference in how that oil reaches pressure. It’s run off the same oil pump whether the engine is running or simply turning over. And if it takes a ‘few minutes’ to ‘bleed air’ out of a hydraulic lifter, then the design is flawed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Did they fix the lifters on newer 4th Gens?

I don’t think that engine oil pressure is the issue. Mine was tapping with 59psi. It’s got to be related to the lifters or the solenoids. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Did they fix the lifters on newer 4th Gens?

Document it and move on. “Chrysler doesn’t have a fix” right now, and “putting new lifters in won’t fix the problem” I agree with the dealer. I’m documenting every occurrence and will start a paper trail with the dealer. We’ll see where it goes from there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Did they fix the lifters on newer 4th Gens?

This is my 19, 6.4. This particular episode lasted around 5 minutes. 4400 miles on the clock when this occurred. My 16 did it too, but never this long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    6.4 hemi Lifter failure

Service guy said they can replace the lifters, but it won't fix the problem. I've started documenting every engine start with video evidence. Every occurence of the lifters collapsing will result in a trip to the dealer, no matter how short the duration. Once I reach lemon status, I'll change...

    6.4 hemi Lifter failure

I traded my 2016 in on a 2019 back in October. the 16 had 59,*** miles and would occasionally tick in the AM on a cold start. It never lasted more than 5 seconds, so I never said anything to the dealer. 2 weeks ago, my 19 did it for the first time at 44xx miles. It lasted for over 5 minutes...
