The dealership didn't check road force when they installed the tires. After a week or so of driving, I noticed the vibration and had a local tire shop with hunter road force do a check. They were able to balance 3 of the 4 tires.
Bought falken at3ws 08 July 21. Got told last week to replace rear right tire as it could not be balanced.
Should I replace just the 1 tire or both rears? rear 4 tires right now have around 2500km (1553 miles) on them
Can anyone help with what this noise may be? It happens on cold start and usually lasts 10-15 minutes. 1-2 hours after driving there aren't any noises.
I took it in to the dealer the first time and they replaced the idler pulley & tensioner belt. Got the truck back and started making this noise...
Sounds great. I'll get the lubeguard as well and add it. I don't have the warm idle tick so ill go with PUP 0w20. Regarding filter - should I stick with 10-48 or switch to 20-820? Is there any benefit of switching?
Ah ok, makes sense. Really appreciate the reply. Regarding warranty, if i use RL 0w30, I'm guessing it would void the warranty? Haven't been able to find PUP 0w30 - only 0w20. I found Penzoil 0w30 but its the Platinum Euro full synthetic...
2018 5.7 sport - Currently running RL 5w30 w/ RP 10-48. Would it be ok to switch to PUP 5w30 for the winter? During cold a start, the usual clattering for a few seconds but then quiets down. Ideally I'd like to stick with RL but I've heard it can cause MDS issues?
Mx4 is leaking through the bulk head. Dealer installed and looks like the foam weather strip installed as per bakflip directions. I do have factory spray in liner on it.. Anyone have problems like this and figure out how to stop it?
I drove with the service manager this morning and the noise was more than evident. They serviced the front rotors again (3rd time in two months). Noise is mostly gone now - faint noise when applying the brakes.
u found this and this is the closest sound that I could relate to.
When I apply the brake lightly, that noise goes away then a scraping/grinding noise is very noticeable from the front driver wheel area
