I have an '09 Laramie that is new to me (since June of this year) and I've got almost everything figured out, until now.

Last weekend, we were driving around and all of a sudden the dash starts chiming, like there is a warning or something. It chimed for probably 30 seconds or so with about 3-4 seconds in between chimes. I checked the dash and there weren't any warning indicators lit up. Not sure what to do, I unbuckled my seat belt and buckled it back in and the chimes went away. I'm not sure if they were related or not.

I drive about an hour to and from work each day, 30 min each way. No issues Monday, but had the chimes return yesterday morning after about 10 minutes into my commute. However, the chimes did not have any pause in between chimes, similar to the door being open with the key in the ignition. It chimed for about 15-20 seconds and then stopped. I didn't mess with my seatbelt this time. No issues the rest of the way in to work or on the way home. The chimes returned this morning, starting a little past when they started yesterday, didn't seem to last as long and didn't seem as loud either for some reason, I barely heard them over my radio (wasn't listening to music, but a podcast, so it wasn't being drowned out). Neither chime was accompanied by any type of warning indicator on the instrument panel.

Has anyone else seen this before? I'd take it in if there was an indicator, but until one shows I'm not sure what to go off of.

Sirius/XM radio may have a favorite song/artist option that make a noise when the artist/song is playing. Might be the source. My '14 has that option and everytime Margaritaville starts it makes a noise :)

Is it possible you have objects on your passenger seat? Sometimes the weight triggers the seat belt warning even though no one is sitting there.

Nope, I was listening to a podcast which is mainly just talking. Once I heard the tone, I turned stereo off...still there.

I had a passenger in the passenger seat for the second set of chimes. The first and third set there was nothing in the seat.

Odd thing this morning. After I started the engine and all the initial chimes and indicators went away, and right before I put it in gear, the SERV 4WD indicator came on. Now, it has done this before, along with a chime, but had immediately went away. Thought it was a fluke. But this morning it stayed on. Figured I'd drive to work anyway, seeing how I don't need the 4WD. Anyway, I get a minute out of my neighborhood and out on the highway and all of a sudden the 4 Low indicator starts flashing, the indicator of the truck with the swerving lines comes on, and it sounds like it's actually in 4 low (definite whine of the 4WD, not good since I'm driving 60mph). So I pull over, waited a minute, turned the truck off and back on, and didn't have any other issues.

I'm gonna call for service this morning, but now I'm wondering if the chimes are/were somehow related with the SERV 4WD. And judging by the initial response, the unknown chimes aren't a known occurance.
