Nice! Those are the ones I was looking at. Are you happy with them?

Yes, they are working out very well for me.

They did not come with canbus cancelers, but as I said I only get an error when I turn on the high beams that are stock(non-led).

If that really is the case, apparently a lot of people buy $100 headlights for "less" light, as proven by the amount of customer reviews. Of course, all those people may not have a clue what they're talking about.

People really don't know that's the problem. They haven't tried anything else they don't understand how lights are supposed to perform and they see a more natural light than the dingy yellow and automatically get tricked into thinking its better. In fact in the video there are 2 other brands that are literally exactly the same as OPT7 but different names. So same company is making all 3 changing the name and color and selling more of their sh@! Product.

Lol.
So I just had time to finally watch this whole video. What. A. Joke.
I would NOT trust the review given by this company. I think these guys are full of **** and willing to say whatever to push a product that they sell (enter Sunpernova V3).
Not all LEDs are created the same. No doubt about that. I do not currently have any LED replacements, just so everyone is clear. I have been researching better headlights (within financial reason), because I work a 3rd shift job so naturally I drive mostly while dark. I have quad headlights with factory bulbs as of now, and I'm used to stock HIDs so I know my lighting is lacking.
While I still haven't decided which way I'll go, I challenge ANYONE wondering the same to do a simple Google search of "best LED headlight bulbs", and you'll find that EVERY OTHER "expert" seems to rank Opt7 Fluxbeams in the top 5 every time. Again, I'm no fanboy as I have stock halogens, but this company AND this thread is BS. Do your own research...

I have been following this company for well over a year and I definitely trust their word in correlation with the retrofit shop. Also they won't even sell you GTR GEN 3 (which is what they should really be trying to sell because they proved it better than V3) but they won't because you have to modify your housings.

Simply put, if you have bought anything aftermarket for your vehicle you will quickly understand that you get what you pay for. And cheap LEDs you can get from Walmart are NOT good. If they were trying to push their supernova V3 by knocking OPT7 why were they showing and claiming that other LED lights are BETTER than the V3 instead of the V3 being the best. Did you really watch the video? It doesn't seem like it.

Look at ratings for every other brand, they also have 5 star ratings. Bounce around on the forums. Look how many people with lighting experience say OPT7 is complete garbage. So yeah... do your own research lol.

It's not a matter of OPT 7 LEDs being horrible, it's a matter of LEDs being horrible in halogen reflectors. They're just not made for any LEDs out there.
I had the OPT 7s in my fogs and headlights. The scattered light and horrible headlight pattern had me take them out of the headlights and leave them in the fogs. I bought complete projector headlights from RetroShop. OPT7 accepted my return of the H11 bulbs without any issues and I would recommend their bulbs. The problem is that most people (including me) really want to believe LEDs will work in our reflectors...they DON'T

Could not agree more but if someone has reflectors led is really their only option. Hid doesn't work right in reflectors and blinds on coming motorists. That's why the GOOD led brands try to mimic stock beam pattern with the orientation of the leds on their unit. No matter what hid is on top. I will never put an led in my projectors. I might do them in my fogs MAYBE. The only time I would trust led headlights is if they're in led specific housings already on a vehicle from the factory. Not saying the technology won't get there, not saying led isn't better than stock (minus opt7) but hid in a projector is hands down the best choice for aftermarket.

EXACTLY. Why LED makers don't mimic the 360 degree light output that a halogen bulb has is beyond me.

Well actually halogen doesn't have 360 degree output. The filament in the bulb has to be turned in the perfect position in the reflector to reflect the light correctly. You'll see this when you spin a bulb in its housing. The beam changes as you turn. Also low beam halogens have a shield or coating on the front of them to protect other drivers. This is why led units have the bulbs just on two sides of the unit instead of everywhere. It mimics the filament in a halogen bulb. If a manufacture places those led bulbs perfectly on their unit when the bulb is locked in place it will closely resemble a stock beam.

I ordered the OPT7 XR-1 7" round LED reflector style DOT approved for my '71 monte, the only ones that I could find with a 4500K color, all the others were 5000K or higher, I really don't care for any of them above 5000K color

if I don't like them I'll return them, I like their LED Fluxbeam fogs, hate the Fluxbeam X I put in my Saturn's projectors

I had issues with one of the Fluxbeam X's, they stood behind it and sent me another complete unit, got to give them some credit for that! (they didn't even ask for the bad one back!)

Thanks. That's good info. If RAM hadn't made it a PITA to replace the bulbs, testing and clocking LEDs might be easier. I really liked the Brightness and output of the OPT7's but the light down the road wasn't any better because of how the reflector scattered the light.

Exactly, the LED's bulbs have to have the LED chips pointing left and right on these quad headlights to reflect the light properly, as you can see the beam pattern on the V.3 is almost spot on to the halogens, just 130% brighter

Yikes I've been away for a bit. Listen, we'll just have to agree to disagree. There are A LOT of people out the that are satisfied with their LED purchase. Whether you think their opinions don't matter really doesn't mean ****. The reality is, they spent their money, and they're happy. Just so we're clear, my opinion doesn't mean **** either. I just think it's a touch "unjust" to tell people to stop recommending a particular brand/company based on one video you saw on the internet. If you don't have personal experience, then you're talking out of your ass. And for the FEW that are speaking against that particular brand, there are several factors at play that make a satisfied customer, and I don't know their stories.

I'm waiting for the day when we can buy whole headlight housings that are designed around LEDs. They all come in one packed like a you see on Benz, Audi, even the cheap ass corolla has LED headlights.

So you want to support a company that makes false claims about their product saying they are brighter than stock and straight up lies about their lumens with a number that no company has been able to achieve before? I definitely don't support that and I think that they should be out of business.
