Gas gauge not working - 2014 1500 Hemi

My gas gauge quit working two days ago, today it worked for a few miles and then quit again. Anyone else have this issue? Solutions?

My check engine light came on two weeks ago and my mech. said it was the temp sensor in my mirror. Not sure they are related but does make me worry about issues come with all the electronics on this truck.

Sorry to say that your experiences are exactly why I spent big bucks on a factory lifetime extended warranty when I bought mine. Vehicles today are too involved electronically to not CYA unless the expenses won't cause you to blink an eye. My other vehicles are an '02 Miata, still relatively simple, and an '11 Subaru Outback that I'm hoping remains a sweetheart for the next 95K. The RAM scared me from the get-go so I spent the money and hope i never need it, but I'm covered anyway. Plus the thought is keeping the truck for at least 10-15 years so I'll invariably need something repaired!

My 2014 did the exact same thing with 37,000 miles on it a few years ago. It was the fuel level senor, which is part of the fuel pump. Dealer had to replace the fuel pump. Only cost me the $100 deductible and the Lifetime MaxCare took care of the rest.
