I might be the only guy to do this so far lol!
My Ram is currently drying in the paint booth, I took the ram head emblem off my tailgate, filled in the recessed spot and holes, repainted, converted to the RAM letters on the tailgate.
In 2 weeks, my 2” Bora spacers should be in too, pics to come!

Nice! You put the 4x4 emblem back on? I just converted my tailgate to the letters as well

No 4x4 emblem, mine is a 2wd. Also its actually two different tailgates for with or without the RAM logo. Look closely at the body lines.

I have a (cheap) garment steamer that didnt seem to help.....not sure if its just not capable enough or if I didnt use it correctly or what.

I might pull the cover off and try again. To me its odd only the right side is wrinkled, the left bolster looks fine.

I agree with Hemi395, give it time and I would park in the sun. It looks great to me. I would think if you peel it off again you would be running the risk of stretching the leather more and making more wrinkles.

Cool pit crew.. Lol.. How'd the tires do? I'm torn between those and Duratracs (which I've had on other vehicles)?

Thanks, guys....I will be "leaving well enough alone". I adjusted it a little bit last night (didnt pull it off completely but got into the side bolsters by releasing the zippers) and it helped.

And just having it sit in the warm basement with everything clipped, zipped, etc has made a bit of a difference just overnight, so I would imagine heat and sun from a baking interior will help too. That wont happen for a while around here, because winter, so I might not actually install them until the spring/summer.

Onto the passenger side, I guess!

I was torn between the two. My buddy has the duratracs on his taco and loves them. He’s a car guy so I know he knows what he’s talking about. I was going to go with the duratracs but I couldn’t find them anywhere, they were back ordered for 2 months. Personally I like the look of the KO2s better. Can’t say enough about America’s tire. Had them before and loved them. They performed pretty well. I’m happy with them. MUCH better than the stock crapyears.

Thanks, will keep that in mind. How do they do as far as wet pavement and hydroplaning or not?

My stocks are Toyo A/T's which are wearing faster than I'd like (lol).

They are great. No hydroplaning, no fishtailing.

Yeah once those sunny months come they tend to work themselves out, when I had mine installed there was a few spots where it was wrinkled a bit to much but from talking with the installer and having a bit of knowledge I figured once spring/ summer hit they would work themselves out and even now some seem to already work themselves out I’ll have to get some updated pics when I get a chance

Thanks! I had visions of factory like tightness from the minute they are installed but clearly it would be normal not to have that (unless I have a pro shop with all the necessary tools, which I dont!)

I have considered leaving them in the bathroom with the shower running for steam, but I think the WAF on that would be very very low.
