How's this just for annual registration

2005 Ford F350 $483.00
2016 Ram 1500 $597

And both are rated at the lowest annual mileage rates.

My 2005 Jeep Rubicon was $221.00 and it went zero miles

In addition, this government is considering charging per miles driven annually. Also charging for permits to drive on certain freeways. No permit and you get a big fine. That's how crazy they are.

So @Brandon-w 's switch saved my ass over the weekend. I live on the east coast and normally we have snow on the ground by now. It was 55 here in Saturday so I went down a dirt road near the water that floods every high tide. I've never been down it in the winter because it's usually covered in ice by now. Anyways I found out the hard way it's nothing but soft sand and mud this time of year. I started out in 4Auto and when I got stuck, 4Auto just wasn't cutting it. WAY too much rear wheel spin. Switched to 4Lock and it just buried the rear wheels in the sand. The rear wheels spin way too much before the fronts engage that you just end up burying the rear end. Mind you the tide was coming in at that point.

I turned on Brandon's switch and as soon as the ball/ramp engaged, the truck pulled right out of the sand/mud with some moderate effort. Mostly because of the Michelins I have on the truck that become slicks in the mud. Very impressed, and thankful, I had this installed.

If I didn't have that switch I most definitely would have got the Overheat message[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Only had to use mine once so far this winter. Backing up over rutted snow and ice in limited space - it sure was nice to know all the wheels would move and no spinning sideways crabbing into the brick building a foot to one side of me !

Thanks, Brandon 1

Yep, tax-paying citizens and businesses are fleeing the state because of the high costs and its crazy government.

In 2018 Califunny @ $1.03 Billion, paid twice what New York paid in welfare. That 55% of immigrant households were on welfare. And it's been said but not published that Califunny's non-tax paying population is now larger than the tax-paying. And, 10% of the households pay 80.4% of the state's income taxes.

Califunny, the welfare and poverty capital of the USA

If all of that is true, the state is going to implode on itself and then the rest of the country is going to have to clean up the mess.
You can throw out there that Detroit went bankrupt, but that's one city not the entire state. Cali makes up 12%(39.1 million) of the population of the US, Texas the next largest is barely 9%(27.4 million).

Yep! And other than taxing more and more they are doing nothing to prepare against going broke. They just keep giving away our taxpayer funds to the illegals and stupid projects.

That would be wonderful, however, they bulletproof themselves and their projects so CARB would probably be left intact.

70 cents of each gallon of gas is for taxes. They promise to use that money to improve roads and bridges. Then they steal it for pension funds, welfare, etc. They are so dishonest, shrewd and corrupt they make Venezuela look like pikers.

A perfect example was there was a bill last year to remove the latest gas tax and vehicle registration increase. Knowing it would pass the Attny Genl changed the voting ballot description to something like a bill to retract earthquake proofing our bridges, etc. Nothing relating to the gas tax. Thus it didn't pass because the voters didn't know it was the retract gas tax bill.

You can't make this stuff up, they just do it. The whole gas tax & registration increase was just done, no ballot to vote on, they just do what they want.

How an entity like CARB can be formed to make policies for an entire state based on the geographical anomaly of a particular area that has had air quality issues centuries before the internal combustion engine was ever built and let it grow into the abomination it is now.
Even back in the 1500s The LA Basin area was known as Baya de los Fumos, or Bay of the Smoke.

Yes, not only for the entire state but last time I checked for 13 other states as well.

I think the 13 other states are stupid enough to think CARB is a good idea and just follow along. CARB probably doesn't take into consideration anything in northern Cali, let alone another state. The only smart thing about the 13 states following CARB, they're not paying to run the agency.
