first of I'm new to this forum and still learning how to use it so if I'm posting in the wrong section please correct me and point me in the right direction.
So I upgraded to a 2017 ram 2500 4x4 6.7 cummins and got Alpha OBD and have some been doing some playing around with it and have a few questions like when changing configuration on the Bcm do you need the reset the RF hub to match the new configuration in the Bcm when ever i change somthing. i ask this because that is what the RF says to do if changes are made to the BCM and to reset the RF hub you need tp know the 4 number pin which I do have for my truck i updated my tire thresholds today but it showed the change in the dash display but the RF hub still throws a low tire pressure code.
And to program a new Forbik key it gives me three options the baseline system the highline system and just program new Forbik but this one gives a bunch of capital two letter pairs and says only use.
So my questions is what, how and why
baseline vs highline and what's the other one and what do I use for my truck?
I am also wanting to disable my rear backup sensors aka rear park sense cuase I was having problems with them and removed them but now get the service park sense message but I can't seen find it in Alpha OBD.
also there is a option called turn on side mirror repeater lights to running lights I understand this to mean that it should make my mirror turn signals to marker lights but enabling this setting did nothing so are side mirror repeaters not my mirror turn signals??
I'm just learning the system and am looking at understanding it better how to use it and what the potential of it is.
