2021 airbag sensor and seatbelt alarm

Hey folks. First post here.
I have a 2021 1500 Big Horn. The airbag sensor came on and won't turn off. I tried checking all of the harnesses under both front seats but everything checked out. I'm avoiding going to the dealership if possible (lots of issues with them) and am hoping this is a simple fix. Couldn't find anything on YouTube.
Additionally, does anyone know how to disable the seatbelt alarm? Once again, the only video I found on a 2021 didnt work. Would really appreciate some assistance thanks

As much as you may not want to take it to the dealer I would highly recommend taking it in for the air bag light because that could be either something simple stupid or something major which could lead to serious injury if you're involved in an accident. Plus doing any work yourself may cause them to void any warranties on the truck.

With said, if you have a scan tool, hook it up and see what or if there is a code. A code will point you in the right direction. You can also try disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if it will reset anything.

I can’t remember sequence( u tube) but you can turn seatbelt chimes off with multiple click in/detaching of seatbelt buckle. Did my 2021 and it worked first go so it is possible. Light stays operational though

Thanks, I found this on You tube and it disabled the chime the first time. Now I need to decide which is less annoying wearing the seat belt or having my whole dash turn red every few minutes.
