Hey I was hoping somebody could help me out. I was looking into doing either a leveling kit from carli suspension or icon or doing a 4 inch lift kit. While looking at superlifts 4 inch kit I noticed a note about that lift not working with standard cab trucks because of rear driveline vibration. From there I fell down the rabbit hole of potential drive line issues with the standard cab trucks when being lifted.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience leveling or lifting a standard cab and if they had any issues with the driveline.

Thanks

I did a 6in lift from RC on 37s and I haven't noticed any issues. Same as MPRBLUZ, just a stiffer ride.

Hi,

I just got my '21 1500 Tradesman lifted 4" with the Mopar kit PN: P5156106. No issues to report; it's been about 8,500 km or 5,000 miles since installed. Apparently it's the same as the SuperLift kit but I'm not able to confirm this.

I haven't done a 4" lift.

I did lift it when brand new using the Mopar "2 inch" lift which actually lifted the rear closer to 3 inches thanks to how light the 120"WB trucks are. No driveline problems but it did have a little tail-wagging on certain kinds of bumps at highway speeds. This was because of the difference in angle between the rear axle and the panhard link. I think on shorter wheelbases that wagging effect is more noticeable than on longer ones. Fixed that with the Carli drop bracket.

Later I switched out the Mopar-supplied springs for Eibach springs (front and rear) which reduced the rake and also reduced the pogo sticking up front a little. Stiffer than stock but not in a necessarily bad way it kind of feels like my Mustang now, like a 5/4ths scale GT car
