So I have a 5" uconnect that I want to connect to an Amp. I am looking for something kind of low maintenance that will fit behind the deck if possible.

Finding a 6 channel amp is a bit difficult. I have the 6 speaker setup in my 1500. Does anyone know of a 6 channel amp that will fit behind my deck?

Or recommendations on a better way to do this? Wiring all my speakers to another location to then wire out to the speaker locations seems like a huge pain for not a lot of gain. I am keeping the 5" uconnect.

Speaker recommendations are appreciated also.

Thanks guys

It's 6 speakers but it's actually only 4 channels. The dash and front doors are in series. One of the best sounds you can get easily, is add a kicker key amp to the fronts only, in bi-amp mode, it's a 200w 4ch amp with a sort of auto dsp built in. If you upgrade the doors and dash speakers abs put this amp on them, it will really impress.

When you bi-amp, it puts the door and the dash each on its own chanel with only mids going to the bigger 6x9 and the highs up to the little 3.5" dash. Amazing sound. Kenwood makes an awesome set of 6x9 & 3.5 componet set for our trucks, they written great on thier own and unbelievable when paired with the kicker key.

And i forgot to add, this amp is small and can be tucked in the dash or almost anywhere.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have a 2021 regular cab and want to make my own small sealed box and add a 10" sub for under $300 total. Has anyone tried the UConnect 5 speaker outs with a cheap amp or amp/sub combo unit that has generic speaker inputs? An LOC is cheap but more crap to deal with. Do I need one for a amp/sub on the UConnect 5?

My build is in here with the 8” uconnect, very similar to the 5 as far as wiring.
