Did you install decoders on low beam/ high beam and fog lights for LED Bulbs?

Hey guys, I recently installed the Fahren Termitor LED Bulbs 120W 20k lumens, and don't know if it's the South Florida cold weather but they have been on for a month and are now flashing on startup then my driver side low beam goes out. Later in the day when it is hotter, the bulbs all work fine. I had a similar issue with the fog lights when I installed them. I added the recorders to the foglights and the problem was solved.

I am looking to add the decorders hoping they solve the issue on low beam, should I also consider them for high beam also? the high beams turn on fine when needed, I have them set on automatic high beams.

My 19 Classic has Fahren bulbs in lows, highs and fogs but they aren’t the terminator series.
I’m in northern canada and have had no issues with mine at all. I don’t use use decoders either.
These bulbs perform well in -37 Celsius weather. Maybe it’s just the terminator series that gives issues? Everyone I know that has Fahren bulbs say they work flawlessly.

I used decoders on my LED installs, and they acted exactly like you are describing.
So I used AlfaOBD to change the ECM to LED settings, removed the decoders. Haven't had a problem since

I've changed all settings to led/hid and don't use any adapters, decoders, or resistors.

I've invested into alfaobd and have changed all the settings. Going to take off the decoders on my fogs and see hiw they work.

With alfa obd, if a bulb goes out will the canvas system still tell you after you have set everything to led?

Ok update, I've updated all the bulbs with alfa obd to led. I removed the fog light decoders and then they flickered again. WTF. So I reinstalled the decoders and they were flickering and not working again. Went back into alfa obd and change the fog lights back to non led. All working. I guess I'm stuck with the decoders on the fog lights.

These are on the fahren termitor 9006 120w 20k bulbs. Any assistance to make them work without the decoders would be nice

Fog lights shouldn't be monitored at all, and should have no issues. However, you may try enabling the following settings highlighted by the red dots.

Yes, if a bulb goes out, it will still let you know. I've had led 3157 taillight bulbs drop a few led chips (most still worked) but when using the turns or brakes, it would trigger a bulb out error.

Well they are because mine would go on and shut off to with a 15. Made change in alfaodb and it’s been fine.

I did have decoders on my 19' with quad halogens for the lows/highs/fogs when I was using a previous brand of LED bulb.

I've now gone to Fahren and Underground lighting and don't need them.
