Not sure if you've messed with your battery clamps with the work you've done but double check them. I had the stalling issue too, found the positive was not tight. Get in there and really crank on them to check. There's several "joints" to the positive cable. Also, not sure if the newer trucks have the fuse box issue but check all your fuses to make sure they are fully seated. Supposed to be a dealer inspection on delivery of a new truck but is easily missed.
So far haven't done anything with the battery terminals, but good suggestion, doesn't hurt to look. We did some wheeling last weekend, on some very bump / rough roads. Climb a rock faced section at a good angle, and no issues period with electrical so that gets me baffled. WIth the amount of bumps / rocks we bounced over, if there was a true electrical issue / loose connections I would have thought for sure it would have acted up then.

lol - haven't washed the mud n dust off yet to see how much new pinstriping I acquired.

I drove mine for weeks with no issues. Pulled out in front of traffic off a pretty steep approach and the truck stalled right in front of all the cars I pulled out in front of. Happened again a week later and that's when I started digging. The clamp tightened up quite a bit. It's been 12k miles and no more issues.

Not much done lately - been doing a lot of travelling to our house 4hrs north of us. Been a hectic time lately, accepted a job back in our home town in Upper Michigan, and slowly moving all our stuff north. Took a little glamore shot time in our driveway to show off the wagon and fall colors. So moving into a fully furnished house, with all our current stuff - yeah this is gonna be fun. Also cleaning up our house in WI and getting ready to put on the market in a few days. I am a thinking the PW mods will slow down for a bit till we are settled. lol - heck I haven't even had time to install my light wiring harnesses yet, due to time and most of my tools are 4hrs away.

First major snow fall finally, and with the few inches previous days we had over 12" on our driveway. Now it is easily justifiable having the 37s

So with the cjc intercooler protector is your stock license plate bracket solid or is it loose? i just bought one for my pw and pulled the oem air dam off and the license bracket used the air dam as an attachment point. seems like with just ******** it in at the bumper would not be very secure. Thanks

I guess it would be classified as loose, since it is only attached to the bumper. For some reason I don't recall it being attached to the air dam, but my memory is horrible - lol. It has survived almost 10k miles so far, and speeds over 80+ mph no issues. Course now I'm in MI so the front plate just recently is gone bye bye.

thanks, yes the bracket attaches to the bumper with those expandable deely boobers but actually screws into plastic air dam. the air dam has premolded dimples for the screws or at least mine does. I think I will just toss the plate bracket and bolt the plate directly to the bumper. I need to run a front plate here so don't want to lose it. ps this forum is sure sensitive on words can't even say s crewing lol. thanks.

Soooooo I did a thing this past weekend. Went to look at this Case 450 bulldozer, and walked away with that, along with a '06 GMC Duramax LBZ. Hopefully its somewhat obvious this is an old picture of the dozer, stupid road restrictions are on so can't get er home quite yet. lol getting a fleet of plow rigs apparently.

COuldn't pass up the deal on the Duramax - they recently put a different rust free body on, minus the front bumper
Large plow than my 1/2t and 9'2" so a smidge wider - lol.
Was hoping to get a stock diesel, but this one has an air intake, PPEI programmer, and 5" exhaust - running internet numbers pushing a smidge over 500hp with the tuner at #3.

But no worries, the powerwagon is still with us, but mods might be slowed down till I replenish my Big Boy Toy Funds again.

Actually did some recovery this past weekend. I was sent a notification from a social media recovery forum Friday night, and they where only a few miles from my house. A fullsize Tundra with street tires and a FJ with mud tires.

Tundra was pretty easy - just stuck in snow so I was able to winch him backwards on to solid ground. The FJ I had to get ahead of him, so drove 1 mile down to reconnect with the trail. Wheeled up to him, and started to winch. Got a little nervous when the driver front sunk up past his bumper as I was winching him out. In the end we got er, but my stupid Serv 4wd light came on and lost 4x4.

Driving backwards at 10pm down a trail was a blast :(. Though about 1/2 way the serv 4wd cleared and I could turn around.

Saturday afternoon we where scouting some turkey hunting sites and found a stranded sxs. The guys where approx 1 mile down the road walking - just had to jump start them. Wheeled through some 1-2' snow depths and the Serv 4wd light never came on. Wish I could track down this sparatic issue.

Sorry no pics this time, the vehicle recovery was tempting but didn't get the FJ out till approx 1020pm.

So in the city one day recently and the Serv4WD came on 4 times. Swung by the dealer and they where able to read the codes, but to my surprise its coming up as tcase alert, not the front axle disconnect. But I guess on the tcase position sensor, if that is acting up would cause the front axle disconnect not to work?
