Hello everyone, new to the forum. Im shopping for a new stereo for my truck (2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman). I have the very basic of basic radios in my truck and I just need more (Im also a tech geek so the basic one sucks for me). Anyway, I've been looking at a few radios, the Linkswell TS-DGPU10-4RR-4B, Phoenix PX6, and Stinger HEIGH10 plus install and review. Also I found ZNAV PX6 which is almost the same as PX6 and Linkswell just a little different. Anywyay, would love to get everyone's opinion about these. Thanks.

I’ve been checking these out. Looking at a lot of reviews. The linkswell looks really good and a lot of people like them.

I think the linkswell is the nicest. Closet to oem imho. The rest I think look too aftermarket and cheap, and are from china. If my 8.4 ever dies, I’m getting the linkswell.

Linkswell is Chinese company. Their reviews are really bad...

@Kelyn curious why you don't get 'stock' one? it's priced around and/or cheaper than ones you linked.
The linkswell is just cheap old android tablet, it's even running old version of Android.

I recently installed a Linkswell and very happy with it. Installation is pretty straight forward. I tried the ZWNAV and wasn't satisfied. Not saying it's bad but am much happier with the Linkswell.

Does the Linkswell come on automatically and quite quickly when you start the truck? Thanks

ALL THE LINKSWELL, PHOENIX, ETC UNITS ARE MASS PRODUCED IN CHINA. DIFFERENT COMPANIES JUST STICK THEIR NAME ON THEM.
THAT BEING SAID, YES THERE IS A 20-30 SECOND DELAY ON START UP WITH MY GEN 4 LINKSWELL, I AM HAPPY FOR THE MOST PART WITH IT BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A HOT SPOT ON YOUR PHONE OR SOMETHING ELSE SINCE IT WORKS OFF OF WIFI ONLY AT THIS TIME. I CANT SPEAK TO THE NEWER VERSIONS IF ANY.
