Many banks, I know mine does, you can use virtual card numbers linked to your card and have it set to expire whenever ;) Is what I do for stuff like this lol that I want to just try and not worry about canceling before getting charged.
YUP< I use the Original Citi Bank Virtual Card for ALL purchases on line. Set limits, and once card used for intended purpose, I "deactivate" that number. Guess showing my age, since my Citi Account is with the Original bank, before all banks , etc issuing cards now with "brand" names.

I had Sirius XM Free for awhile after buying my RAM, Then I had it for 5$ a month for a year !
Canceled it

Kept getting E mail with deals for them for deals that I deleted

Today I get a letter from them with a promo 99$ for 3 years !
SO for 100$ for 3 years I figured why not, give it a shot again I can always cancel if I do not like it lol

Anyone else here of that deal before ? Just curious
I pay $43. for 6 months. But I have stations I really like so for me I like it.

That's a great deal!!!! it's usually around $16 per month. I'm currently paying a little over $6. I'll have to check that out. Often times if you call them up and threaten to cancel because it's too high, they'll put you into some sort of Special Offer. By the way, you can listen to it on any device outside of the vehicle. I listen to it in the house on my phone with a "Wonderboom" Bluetooth speaker.

I dropped Sirius after having it 8 years as iHeart is a free app and I can play anything I am interested in on my phone thru Bluetooth on the truck. And since I have unlimited data on the phone it cost me nothing extra so it no longer made sense to have Sirius. If you don’t mind the occasional ads iHeart is a worthy consideration. They even had the talk radio station I listen to on FM band so I can hear it anywhere I go now.

We have a 2006 monterey boat that we bought used when it was a couple years old. The previous owner must have done the lifetime deal years ago when they offered that because we have had free SXM ever since about 08 or 09 when we got the boat!!
I had one of these on our 2005 Durango. The subscription is tied to the SXM radio and supposedly in the original owner's name. And it will work for as long as nobody tells SXM that the boat's been sold and the radio works.

I used the free trial, left it off for a while, then signed up. Later canceled, and I think I finally got them to leave me the hell alone. They offered me to keep it at like the $5 plan, and I think a few months free or something, but I have streaming, and they don't harrass me...

We keep our SXM subscription because we travel to places without cell service. Am paying $99 a year and that's less than their list price (which only the lazy should pay). I always call and threaten to cancel and always get a somewhat reduced rate. I think the key to getting a really good deal like you got is to let the subscription expire for weeks and then wait for the offers to come in. My problem is that it takes too long.

Just an FYI.

They offer 25% off for Military. Offer available only to eligible military personnel, spouses and dependents, including Veterans, Retirees, Active Duty and Reserve.

Of course this is off the full price. So the Great deals are better.

I used to have a phone number to SXMs corp office. I could call them and deal about any price I wanted. They killed the phone number, so can't do that any more. But this did show me that they are willing to budge on price. What I miss is the "lifetime" for any player. It used to be a cheap $300, but they removed that option completely.

It's free but it's limited unless you pay $9.99 a month. They are all limited unless you pay.

The number that you call to get Sirius XM
Is in INDIA

I used to call that number & complain that i did not understand what they were saying & i asked to be transferred to the New York offices & then i would deal with them.
I have had Sirius since 2003 & they have never offered a modified price.
I just did not renew the plan this last January
I have not been driving hardly at all, just trips to the hospital or grocery stores, so i don't need it

When my service changed to their normal price, I called in to get it discounted. It said all operators were busy...would you like to text instead. I said sure and did the whole thing through text message to get my truck and my wife's durango lowered to $5/month for each vehicle. It was great to get the price I wanted and not have to talk to anyone.

I had this deal for 3 years and I had no problems with it until I went to renew it. I received a letter from Sirius prior to my three year expiration date that said I needed to contact them to renew for another 3 years by a certain date. I called them to renew another 3 years and was told that the offer was not available any more. I asked about why they sent me a letter which I was holding in my hand stating that I could renew for that price. I got the "we don't offer that anymore" which after 3 times checking with her manager, the $5 a month option for a year was the only thing they would offer. So I said no thanks. I went and did a chat afterwards to see if I could get a different response and the same "we don't offer that anymore". So if you can get the 3 year deal for $3 a month, go for it. I suspect that once it comes time to renew it, they'll give you the sorry charlie at that time. So I live without Sirius and they lose. Plenty of other options to go with for music so no great loss. I will assume that at some point, I will suddenly get that email that states I can get it for 3 years/ $99 again. At that point, I'll decide to do it or basically say sorry charlie to them.

I've never seen a $3 a month offer but I got a letter for $5 a month for 2 years.
Threw it away.

That isn't correct. They have call centers in US(main one is in NJ) and Canada( main one is in NS). Might have some remote people in other countries, generally they are in NA.

If they never gave you a discounted price, you pissed someone off. Since my sub ended on my Ram. I've gotten 15 emails, 2 regular mail discounts.

SO far I am not overly impressed with Sirius ! Sounds OK but I am still exploring the stations. Since I do not listen all the time my hunt and peck on stations will take time lol. And I can candle it anytime ! So for me worth a $100.00 to try it again !
But on a 6 hr. drive to one of my son's house it may be worth it lol
