I had Sirius XM Free for awhile after buying my RAM, Then I had it for 5$ a month for a year !
Canceled it

Kept getting E mail with deals for them for deals that I deleted

Today I get a letter from them with a promo 99$ for 3 years !
SO for 100$ for 3 years I figured why not,give it a shot again I can always cancel if I do not like it lol

Anyone else here of that deal before ? Just curious

Dat's a dang good deal for 3 years. I am paying $129.00 for 1 year, instead of the regular price of $336.00, which is the monthly plan they automatically charge your credit card if you allow them to do that. DO not put in a CC that they can charge automatically, or just insure you do not forget and CANCEL before they renew automatically at the full rate. Rate I mentioned is for Full Unlimited Access, not the basic rate.

I was not interested on the 60$ a year deal as I do not use the radio a lot
But for about 40$ a year w/tax it is worth a shot ! And I do know how toy cancel lol

I was not going to pay the ridiculous subscription fee, because i only use it to listen to the HIGHWAY, latest country music

I will not use a card that they can automatically recharge
If there is a way to charge Sirius to a Gift Card, i will renew it for a discounted price

maybe pick up a Pre Paid card

I had sat radio a few years back, I removed credit card info, so when expired, I figured the would stop service, instead they kept charging me and sent bill in mail. Before that time, I had it in another car, cc expired, somehow they still charged my cc, only way I could see that would be possible is they put in different expiration date. So even the no credit card did not work. Since then I will not get sat radio.

I just carry my USBs full of hundreds of hours of music with the music I like too ... I have thousands of hours of music on my external hardrive and I can always add or remove music and it's free lol .... I am with you on this one

That's a great deal.

I've been going year to year since 2018 at around $7-8/mo. There's a bunch of music and a talk show or two I really like on SXM.

For me, I like the convenience of it being right at your finger tips as soon as I hop in the truck. I could get most of it free, by streaming through my phone.

I keep getting the $5 a month offer but after they add fees and royalties the $5 per month becomes $8.25 per month. Likely a reasonable deal if I spent more time in the truck. With Pandora and my own MP3 collection on an sd-card, I just don't really see the usefulness of satellite radio. That given their shallow playlists just doesn't excite me.

I use do that for few my other cars. come free, cancel, they offer low, buy it again.
You have to call every time to cancel, otherwise they would start charging you at higher price.

Now I just pay for Amazon music, it plays online and offline

A few years ago I had the 5$ a month deal and never noticed any surcharges!
So may have missed them if they did charge!
My CC now have a instant alert when anything is charged ! And I mean instant alert not a week later lol

We have a 2006 monterey boat that we bought used when it was a couple years old. The previous owner must have done the lifetime deal years ago when they offered that because we have had free SXM ever since about 08 or 09 when we got the boat!!

FYI in the past when I canceled they offer the 5$ a month deal ! Been a few years since I had it!
If I do not use it much in the next few months Ill cancel !

I do find I may not use as much as I used to, but the cost is not a deal breaker and U always end up looking for something you got rid of, kinda how things just do, lol. Just like, you have that special tool or item U put in a "Special" place you can always find. Then later on, you cannot find that tool because you forgot where U put it, hee hee.

A few years ago, heck, it was less than two years ago I paid them $60 for one year of service, they would not let me transfer the balance of service to my new truck. So you didn't miss any surcharges, that was the number back then, $5. I guess not no more.

They still offer the 5$ deal all the time, I get that one all the time , Then a couple weeks ago got a 5$ a moth offer for 2 years , Then the other day in the snail mail the 3 years for 99# + tax etc which is 127$ for the 3 years so 42$ a year is worth a shot if I use it enough ! And if not out 100$+ not a big deal

Many banks, I know mine does, you can use virtual card numbers linked to your card and have it set to expire whenever Is what I do for stuff like this lol that I want to just try and not worry about canceling before getting charged.
