I have wondered the same thing. Might explain why it happens multiple times on some trucks, and not at all on most.

Either that or it may be where the truck was built.
I would think it happens to US built trucks only
It seems to me that the mexican made trucks would avoid ICE at all costs...

I have a 2017 Bighorn, 43k miles. Just towed to the garage for “No Park “ and a code for check engine. 15F below and snow storm. Don’t know what they’re finding. Who gonna help me with this one? Dewey
