Congrats on your 10th anniversary and also the catch of your Ram.

I am coming up on 29 years this July and my '15 SLT has 183k miles as I write this.

Here's to many more 'miles' in life!

Congrats! My wife and I celebrate 21 years this May. I'm glad that she's into my truck obsession as well. It makes things a lot easier!
Congratulations nlambert182 on 21 years this May. Having a wife who contributes to the delinquency of a truck obsession is awesome!

I wanted to give a update on my Beautiful Ram. My beloved wanted to get her nails done with all the pampering that comes with it. The first time ever for her. We both grew up country living, in which pampering was not an option for us. Which left me running errands for the day. After installing a new air filter I was off like a dirty shirt. 8 hour of non-stop work, I can honestly say this truck is the most comfy. Best handling, best riding, most power except my Cummins truck. After all the issues I have read about with the Hemi, and Ram issues, I can say is worth the hassle.
I will continue to take care of my Ram just like every other truck I have been entrusted with. If I do have any issues, I will remember that 80's song by Nazareth "Love Hurts" as I take care of business!!

I would hope it's better than an '01 f1fiddy...lol
I came from a '98 ram sport in '17 to a truck that was 7 years old(laramie also)..and it wasn't even a comparison to power or luxury.
Again congrats with the Mrs and the truck.
Stick around for all the great topics that come up...I've learned a ton of info from all these guys.

Great looking truck, and congart on the 10 yrs.
We are into it for 56 or is it 57?
I thought I had low miles on my 2014 sport at 80,000 km ( I am in Canada) there are a few of us here.
I have had 3 of these and never needed any work on any of them. Current one is red
I need to update the picture, interior looks the same as yours. Red is not what I would have picked, but it was a year end and great deal. the one before as a Laramie, Blk.
I have a daughter and son in-law both Ca Military vets.

Congrats (on both counts)!

Looks like a nice truck. You earn 20 extra points from me for having chrome door handles!!

It would be a real good investment in time/money being from the great state of Ohio, to get it undercoated bc the bodies on these trucks do rust. A buddy's '13 has rust holes you could put 3 fingers through! All the areas you know about plus the gas tank support frame. Keep that fine looking machine...um, fine looking. And really (nobody does this kind of thing but me), given that it's 8yrs old, a guy would benefit by getting up and over the wheel wells with a thin fabbed-up instrument like in the picture below (with a gentle porpose-looking nose), and dislodge all the accumulated stones, rocks & sand that end up there. You can't hose those rocks out because they lodge in tight. Then wash, let dry ..and THEN have it undercoated. Otherwise yer just encasing sand rocks & gravel. I removed a couple 3 hand fulls from EACH rear wheel well on mine a few yrs ago ...and it's a pavement princess. Just a thought.

And honestly (I hate when people say that..lol), I personally think using oil up there would make more sense. Because most undercoating is thick and stays gooey. It's going to trap and hold any debris that gets in there and you won't be able to get it out easily. Whereas oil is thinner and you can get up there again and clean out and re-treat. But nobody takes my suggestions anyway.. the key thing is to do SOMETHING to keep her looking great. So if it's taking it to a shop for undercoating, better to do that than wait and watch it disintegrate before your eyes. The pic below outlines the inner wheel arch where you need to get from the backside and dislodge the rocks & debris.

I won't kid you, it's a lot of work. Some larger stones you have to really work at to dislodge. But the payoff will be when it looks fantstic at your 20th wedding anniversary! I would put oil/undercoating in the frame too. Salt loves to do its evil work inside box frames!

Thank you Jeepwalker for sharing your information. After I go thru my baby and change all fluids, for my own piece of mind. Undercoating is my next step, for long lasting body on my Ram
