Just picked up a '23 2500 6.7 and 2 trips so far 1000 miles or so each pulling about 8500 lbs or so and I can't believe the difference over my 1500 Hemi night and day and the mpg are unbelievable drove to round trip to Denver from SLC basically pulling empty trailer up and brought a Ram 1500...
I wanted the 6'4" bed when I ordered mine but I would have had to wait and I didn't want to risk a long wait soI settled for the 5'7
Every time I see the 6'4 I shed a little tear.
My Avg fillups are around 25-27 gallons. Never really hurt my feelings to be honest. Misjudged pulling a heavy load once was happy to have the extra but still only took 29.8 gal to fill back up.
Mine is over 4 years with the original battery
Yeah have done the top off every now and then thing on other vehicles but not this one. I do that more when on my Gel cell batteries.
Airlift 1000:puke: Bags are a cruel joke. They are more for putting overweight kids in the back of a minivan. Ok that was mean but I have installed a dozen sets and warranty replacement for all of them that were installed in trucks. I like Airlift they make good products and good CS but Airlift...
I bumper pull 8500ish lbs with mine a few times a year and would I like a bigger truck maybe but it isn't worth it to me. Mine pulls like a champ and the few times a year I pull heavy I just drive a little slower.
I put good bags in the back and much better tires and all is good. I have been...
It won't change what you can tow but of course it will limit the amount of of droop before you hit your bumpstops. So really it depends on how much and how heavy. I did not lower mine but I have installed a HD air bag kit to keep me level when towing.
I am 1900 lbs under my weight limit and it is more stable then a number of my 3/4ton trucks I have had in the past, and has better brakes. Again make sure you are within your ability.
I pull an enclosed 20' and loaded it is upwards of 9000 lbs I do have 3.92's and I have the Air Lift 88365 LoadLifter 5000 ULTIMATE Air Spring Kit. It maybe a little overkill but it is one of the best things I have done to the truck anyway 900 lbs tongue weight or so this bag kit no equalizer 10...

Ok so not this week but I posted that I ordered them and never posted pics and review. So here goes. WOW all I can say is WOW. This is by far better than ever expected. Sure maybe a little over kill but I have never had to put more than 10 PSI in the bags and the ride is incredible loaded and...
If you unplug your trailer while it is on it gives you a waring that it is unplugged like AirbourneSilva said just incase you didn't know it was unplugged
Heading to Easter Jeep Safari 2016. 20' total weight between 8500-9000. Pulled like a boss. I was a little worried because I had some pretty good hills to climb but I chose my speed and the 8 spd decided how to accomplish it. I still am impressed at how well this Transmission works.
