^^ I believe on the 15+'s they removed this on the 1500's. I was told this by numerous sources. However I have never checked my self. Can anyone confirm or deny this on a 1500?

Tow/Haul mode does the same thing..

Tow Haul mode on my '13 will go into MDS even pulling 9000 lbs. Of course it is usually going down hill

Works on my '15.

If you're referring to turning off mds by manually putting it in the highest gear.

IMO

When I manually select the gear in my 2015 1500 it keeps the MDS from kicking in...

I tried mine this morning and yes changing to manual mode does turn off MDS.
But in Auto mode in Tow/Haul it will still go into MDS

It is option on the 8.4 screen in apps

To turn on the backup camera while driving forward? You are going to have to show me this because my 2014 8.4an does not have this.

Now if you are talking about the bed camera located in the third brake light, yes you can do that.

I believe 2016 is the first year to do this from the factory. There are aftermarket solutions to do the same for your 2014.

Just a APP....press it and back up camera comes on for about 10 seconds....enough time to check your load. Maybe a firmware update would do it?

Yeah I think it's a model year thing. I do not have that option (or the option for wallpapers) on my 2014 8.4an.

On my 13 Ram, when you put it in reverse the mirrors tilted down so you could see the ground backing up. On my 16 Sports I can't find the function to program this. I was told that in 16 the options was not available. Anyone have a 16 that the mirrors tilt down in reverse?

Someone is going to have to help me figure out MDS. I understand what it is and what it does but how exactly are you guys aware its activating?

I understand the drop in RPM is the indication, however in my case I know that its just the torque converter locking up, not MDS. I have driven in regular D and also tried manual shifting into 8 and not one thing different. If i give it enough throttle it just down shifts and the RPMs obviously jump up.
I'm just wondering if maybe alot of people are getting these two mixed up or maybe its me getting it mixed up?
