    P0456

    Has anyone had the P0456 result in needing a fuel tank? Nothing was found on a smoke test, so tech recommended fuel tank. Something about a part that is a part of the tank that is causing small leak.

    I like your answer, Daw14. I don't know the difference between the 2007 and the 2014 fuel tanks, but when I was checking, it seemed that there wasn't many other applications for the tank I needed, or allegedly!

    Check engine light - code showed "small evap leak"

    I had my Ram at the dealer and they ruled out everything except something they said was attached to the top of the fuel tank, (part of the tank) the reason why they wanted to replace the tank. I didn't, because I don't have the confidence that they know what they are doing.
