    97 5.9 4x4 pressure solenoid?

    Was also having problems with my 99 shifting in and out of od.. I dropped the pan and replaced both solenoids, filter, as well as adjusted the bands. Problem solved. Might as well do all of it while youre in there.

    46RH trans help with numbers

    i went with new dorman lines and the biggest hayden trans cooler that my store had in stock. Pulling the old 46re was a breeze as ive had it out once before, going back in with a different one was a bit tricky as i was a lot more carful :p take your time.

    Tire Question.

    285/70 VS a 265/70 you wont lose much ground clearance. 285 and 265 is the width of your tires. so going 285 to a 265 is going to be a skinnier tire.. if you got to a 285/65 you would notice a bit of difference in height. 70 & 65 would be a percentage of the width giving you your "height"

    LOL I KNOW RIGHT! same guy that rebuilt the tranny in my 95 blazer (also $400).. which was OBD1.5 and are super hard to find at a salvage yard so I didn't have much of a choice when it came to that one.. he seems to have done a great job from what I hear, I beat the piss out of that blazer for 4...

    my trans is toast in my 99 ram, slipping bad... on a side note I found a guy three hours from me that'll rebuild it for $400.. but that involves me pulling it and a 3 hour drive one way to get it to him. just waiting to get more funds. should be rebuilt and back in in a few weeks. keep looking...

    Agree with Merc, take it back to them. It wasn't like that when you brought it to them and shouldn't have been like that when you left... Shift linkage levers might be bent. Or they didn't hook it back up right.
