46RH trans help with numbers

I have a 94 ram 1500 4x4 with a good 5.2l and a bad 46RH the number stamped into the housing just above the trans pan is PK52118325 2018 8121. I found a tranny that looks same as mine but the number is PK52118329 2050 5482. I called dealer and they said they could not give me any info from those part numbers. Is there anywhere I can go to find out what trans the later is. Thank you.. If I posted this in the wrong forum please forgive me. thank you

thank you. That is a big help. so this will bolt right in. now from what I understand is I will need to use a torq converter from the 5.2l. I also seen in some other post about removing the weights from the 5.9 tq and using it in the 5.2l.. any truth to that.

I think the weights are what is balancing it rotationally. I don't think removing them would be a good idea.

The flex plate is what weighted not the tq converter.

In the photo below you can see the weight, this is for the 5.9, the 5.2 has no weights on it.

thank you again you have been a big help. I just got back from picking up the unit. Overall it looks pretty good. no leaks fluid smells good. I got the tranny, overdrive and transfer case and a extra front drive line. Im going to pull the old tranny and install this one on Saturday. looks like it shouldn't take more than a few hours.

More like an 8 hr job but give'r heck. Don't forget to flush the tranny lines and the coolers don't want any junk getting into the new/used tranny.

Mind me asking what you paid for all of your parts? Nice score by the way lots of extra parts to keep on hand.

I didn't think the put the RH is any Rams (I could be wrong). I was under the impression all 1500 Rams were equipped with the 46RE.

The 46RH was in the 1500s up until the obdII when they used the RE. H is hydraulic E is electric,

That part number is not working for me at all.

You do have a 46re so you did order the right one.

i went with new dorman lines and the biggest hayden trans cooler that my store had in stock. Pulling the old 46re was a breeze as ive had it out once before, going back in with a different one was a bit tricky as i was a lot more carful take your time.
