    low oil pressure switch? 97 5.9l 360 v8

    so im wondering if the 97 dodge ram 2500 had a low oil pressure "kill" switch? for the 360 v8's. that would cause the truck to not crank with low oil pressure even though its got 5 full quarts of oil.

    will a 5.9l v8 out of a 2000 durango work in my 1997 dodge ram 2500? im looking for a spare motor so i can rebuild one motor then just swap it in. i dont know if i need to find a 5.9l v8 out of another 2500 of the same year or can i use a durango or 1500's motor.
