    So my dad just traded in his 2007 F350 on a 2017 Ram 3500 6.4 Hemi. Yeah! Anyways, he has a bank of Aux switches, 1 through 5. Switch 1 and 2 both light up little LEDs when pressed, 3-5 do nothing. Any way to tell what these switches actually do? I looked in the radio and couldn't find any...

    3.92 in 6speed???

    I have a 2017 CC 4x4 SXT with the 5.7 Hemi, 6 speed and 3.92 rear end. Pulls great. Even got the factory air suspension installed. I get ~ 13.5L/100 (21MPG) Highway and 23L/100 or worse (12MPG and down) depending on when I'm towing. 31 foot TT, approx. 7500-8000lbs loaded.

    2017 ram 1500 5th wheel

    Number 1 - You don't have a 2019, you have a 2017, different towing capacities. Number 2 - That number is likely a bumper pull trailer, not a 5th wheel. Number 3 - You'd STILL be over your max payload and GAWR with a 5th wheel in that truck.

    Towing my 29’ tt

    That will depend. What year, engine, and rear-end do you have in the truck? All affect towing capacity. Also, the Rams are known for lower payload ratings than other makes, so this number seems about right.

    I've defiantly had mine 'count down' quicker when towing my travel trailer. So there is some kind of calculation going on, how accurate it is is up for debate though.
