I've had mine on for almost four years. Only problem I've found is that I forget that not all trucks have one. I've dropped my brother's tailgate a couple times.
I can't comment on this specific cover from Tyger, but I have the Tyger soft tri-fold and Tyger side steps and have been pleased with both of them. They seem to be quality products for their price.
Carven Progressive bolt on muffler for sale. This will fit 2009-2018 Ram 1500 with single in dual out exhaust. I had this on my truck for a little under two years and almost 15,000 miles. Took it off a couple months ago and put the stock muffler back on. I liked the sound in town and on...
Bilsteins are most recommended around here for leveling. I went with 2.1" for my level, but I've heard of some that go 2.8" to level. Apparently not all trucks come from the factory with the same rake. You'll need to measure your truck and then decide what setting to use to level.
Here's my 2004 that I had for 14 years until I bought a crew cab a couple years ago to haul the kids with. Told my wife not too long ago that I wish I still had it. She asked if I regret buying the crew cab. Told her no, but there is nothing wrong with having more than one truck.
Same here. I've had the stainless version for two years and they are still like new. I also have the Tyger soft tri-fold tonneau cover for a year. I've been impressed with the Tyger products given their reasonable prices.
I recently went back to stock too and also thought I must be getting old. I had the Carven Progressive and most of the time loved the sound, but the drone on the interstate was annoying and it seems like I'm driving more interstate now than in the past. Went back to stock about a month ago. I...
I just measured. I'm right at 1/4" of rake. I think this is what I had after the install which means that it hasn't settled any. There are times I wish I would have went 2.8" plus a rear spacer (would look like it had a small lift instead of just looking the way RAM should make them look from...
I've also got the Tyger soft tri-fold. I would have prefered one that is low-profile and sits between the rails instead of on the rails, but I didn't want to spend that much money. I've only had my Tyger cover for a few months and it has been great thus far.
Thanks. I've had a Ram the last 15 year and have never had a tonneau cover. Decided to give an inexpensive one a try in case I end up not liking it. I've got Tyger side steps too and have been impressed with them so I'm hoping the cover will be the same.
