Hi Folks..
Just a shout out to all..
I just bought a 2007 RAM 2500 that was highly modified (but had no significant rust). Spent a couple of months patching holes in the bed (Exhaust stack, fifth wheel hitch), removing the five inch lift, getting rid of the 35x12.5" mud slinger Nittos and going back to a 265 tire (keeping the 18" rims cause they look really nice), actually adding a muffler (on the third attempt to get something sufficient to silence the 5.9) upgrading the steering system, adding a bed liner and cover and replacing all the things that needed replacing (fan clutch, ball joints, etc). About the only thing I am scared to tackle is the pan and rear seal oil leak. I figure that I still need to add a lift pump, remove most of the window tinting, replace the radio with something that will do the radio stuff and monitor the engine functions (EXT, Boost, tranny temp), deal with a fuel filler leak ('really?' you ask??)that I hope is not a ruptured fuel tank and deal with the oil leaks.
So.. That's me...
(If anyone knows about such a radio/monitor device,, please let me know about it.) If I can get permission to actually post, I will post the question in an appropriate forum.
Best..
