Got the link to the service manual... Unfortunately, I can't open it on my phone. I'll look at it when I'm home next week. Thanks

No idea how to set that either lmao. Dude, I'm horrible with trannies. I can pull one out and put it back in within 5 hours, but couldn't tell you a goddamn thing about it hahahaha

Not 100% certain. Im illiterate when it comes to them. All I know is that it doesn't always downshift to 1st when I stop. It does though if I manually shift on the column or hammer the gas. Kickdown cable isn't overly tight...

Once I get more service I will. I've gotta get back under the truck once I get back home and work with a few things anyways... That leads me to my next issue.... How can I free up a sticking valve body in the transmission?

I'm up in the boondocks in NY, with 1 bar of service and 1X internet... Lmfao. I'm lucky I can get onto this app let alone google and the vast amount of stupidity we call the internet hahahahaaha

Could very well be a plenum gasket as well... I've got my cat gutted on my 97 Dakota and I notice it idles a bit funny every once in a while, but no lack of power, that's for sure... Lights up a set of 32s with power to spare.

Dafuq is that? lol. Well right now... There's no 4wd whatsoever. Have my front axle torn apart and all the guts ripped out...no front driveshaft, no tcase shift linkage connected, and the vacuum actuator kinda got ripped off a few weeks ago in the woods...by a tree....because I drove into...
It actually ended up being something in the new transfer case. I've still got no idea what caused it, but I put in another and it's all good now. All I know is that there were a lot of metal shavings in the other case...
As far as the transfer case falling out.... No clue what caused that...
Okay.... So recently my transfer case fell out of my truck on the highway... How? I'd be damned if I knew.... Anyways... I got the tailhousing on the transmission rebuilt since that's what broke. My problem.... Everything's back together and the truck runs and drives. BUT! When I'm moving I can...
What happens when the tail housing on your transmission breaks off at 75 mph... Catastrophic damage, leading to transmission job #2 within 5 months...

Went out on my own today thinking I wouldn't get stuck because I wasn't doing anything stupid.... I've driven over this section at least 30 times....but snowmelt and 3" of rain last week had other plans.... Lmao.

Will do. I'm gonna put them on hold til next week so I can pay some bills tomorrow, but the toolbox is half the price. So that'll be going on. Lol. Plus a black brush guard too. We'll see how she turns out haha. Thanks again

After seeing that I like the second set a lot better. Lol I'm getting a black toolbox Friday, so it should look better. Thanks man!

Sorry, I lied a little on the price... $35 was for my Dakota. But yeah, $52 and you've got brand new straps from autozone, and it's a stocked part
