    thanks , you may have heard it but if you listen really close there is one tick that is separate from the injectors . Easier to hear in person

    The "after" is a very light metallic tapping that sounds like maybe one lobe or lifter. I would venture to say if you are hearing a more rapid ticking similar to injectors that would be normal as long as it isn't loud like (lack of oil causes this). However what concerns me is that it sounds...

    Thanks man im happy with how it turned out. I don't dislike chrome per say but it didn't match my paint and wheels well.

    This is after they replaced my lifters and cam at 11k miles. Is this a normal Hemi tick or something else ? It has dealer supplied synthetic blend 5w20 if normal I’ll just run some redline if not I Need to get this fixed.

    Also like I said veofre Every once and awhile like after an oil change it would. That doesn’t mean your lifters are bad just that there isn’t oil up there when you crack. Bad filter or low oil can do that I think

    painted myself. Took the bumpers off, sanded them (painful), primed then did about 4 coats.

    Even after my complete lifter replacement there is still a slight tick (sounds like one lifter is louder than the others) I’m really interested to try redline for that moly content but I also don’t want to quiet a problem that will develop into a failure.

However, I have lost a lot of confidence in the platform but I am also not super convinced the lifters actually failed, some bearings felt slightly tougher than others, maybe a little bit of uneven wear.     My responses Model year? 2018 Miles? 11,100 Miles between changes? 5,000 Conventional or synthetic? Synthetic Any lifter failures? Failed at 11k miles (hard tick present) no CEL. Any abnormal tick? Still a slight tick when truck idles with warm oil after sitting.
