Denver area shop suggestions?
I have a 2011 Power Wagon with 5.7 and bad lifters and camshaft. I am looking for a good shop in the Denver area that will do this job for a reasonable rate. Just had it at a shop that said it would be $7300. That seemed crazy to me when most guys are paying around $3500 for this job. Any help... -

What is this for? A jack point?
I was curious about those too. mine is a 2011 and looks like the one on the 1st page. A buddy at work has a 2012 2500 (non Power Wagon) I looked at his and he has about 1/2 thick piece of steel bolted to his going from one side to the other (like a cross member). According to your avatar list it looks like you own a 5.7. Why then the hate for this motor? Have you had problems? When I did some research it seemed as if the 5.7 is a pretty good platform. Nope it has the 5.7. In the Colorado market $10K is a pretty unheard of price. I have been watching for these things on CL for a while and they usually list for way more. I looked at it like a fixer upper. I plan to toss a new 12K lbs. HF Badlands winch in it and will fab up my own bracket. The...- MedicDB
