Got 4 new tries and alignment at Mavis. Tires came out fine but after 4 alignments, it’s still pulling. I have the 1st gen 1500 big horn with 39k miles, 18” wheels. Changed out the factory tires. I thought why not get the alignment at the same time. Bought it today to get the 4th alignment and...
I recently received the truck back from the body shop. Had a minor rear end collision. But when I was trying to close the tail gate with a heavy load on the gate, the right-side hinge popped out. I popped it back in, no biggie. I know they had to remove the gate for repair but just wanted to...
Don’t know if anyone know this but, if you shut the truck off without putting it in park, the drive dial automatically turns itself into the park position. Pretty cool to see.
Not sure if anyone received this but there is a steering ground recall letter I received from FCA. I don’t have the letter with me but, it says there is a ground issue with the steering system. This can cause loss of steering if not fixed. I’ll call the dealer soon to schedule an appointment
Happened a few times the past months. This was after an hour of driving. I started it up from parked and the drone noise was extremely loud from 1000rpm to 3000rpm. Shut the truck off and started it up again. Then it went away. Why does it do that?
Did the first oil change on the 5.7L at 4600 miles by myself over the weekend. Didn’t want to wait any longer with the weather. Didn’t need to jack up the truck. Oil drain plug was very easy to get to. The oil filer was a different story. The locating was kinda tight to get the filter out...
The truck has 2900 miles on it. Dealer sticker has it for 3000miles oil change. But the factory maintenance minder is at 60%. Should I wait for the factory to go down 0% or change it as per the dealer sticker.
Does anyone know how many miles is at 0%?
Thanks,
FYI, when the gas is at ¼ tank, the remote start will not work. Happened to me this morning. I forget exact message on the dash, but I remember it something like “low gas, disable remote start.”
I noticed on my truck, the valve stem are regular rubber ones and not the metal sensor ones. The reason Im asking is because in my center info display, it shows tire pressure for all 4 tires. Are the sensors mounted on the inside of the rim?
