2018 5.7L tapping sound
Hello and thanks in advance for the replies. I have a 2018 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L. I bought it used with 24,000 miles and it currently has 33,000(rounding). I never noticed a sound before but recently have with the truck when I'm driving at a steady speed, if I need to "juice" it a little...- spudgunn88

High pitched ring/squeal from engine
Good Evening People, 2019 Ram Laramie 12,500 miles So for the last few months, I’ve had this weird ring or high pitched squeal coming from somewhere in the engine? It comes on and off, but pretty consistent. I’ve taken it in for service at one dealer and they “claimed” they couldn’t hear it...- DSO1977

Good night, I'm from Brazil, and nobody here understands much of the mechanics of RAM, as you do, to make more noise, and to get black smoke? mine is reprogrammed to 490 HP, and direct exhaust thanks in advance. sorry for my English.- Marlon
