    Installing an electrical outlet

    I understand the place you plug a cig lighter in is called a '12 Volt Plug'. I want to be able to plug a laptop in, the same as I would in my house, into a three prong outlet. How might I do that? Since that would not be called a '12 Volt' Plug' What is it called? Thanks Daniel
