I reset both batteries on my 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 Tradesman because they were running low and it wouldn’t start. After changing to 2 new batteries, truck won’t start. Headlights work, dash lights up, but door doesn’t ding when open. I have connected and reconnected batteries, still nothing.

As in won't turn over... or won't fire?

If it won't even turn over, you may have something disconnected or loose. If it turned over before the battery swap that's the likely culprit.

Are you sure you took the black plastic negative post cover off the new battery? My neighbor did that once, came over and asked me to help him out, I noticed and removed the cover, put the cables back on and varoom it started. He changed it in his barn which wasn't well lit, so he didn't see it.

Did you charge them first, or check the charge status? If not, check the voltage with a multimeter and if it is lower than about 12-1/2 volts, put them on a charger overnight.

If they are charged and show a voltage of = or > than 12.5 volts, load test them. Use one of these:
