Yeah I'd guess your tire size is off if you measured it. the programed tire size is typically about an inch shorter than the advertised tire size.
Thats where a GPS or gps app comes in handy so you can get the speedo to read 60 mph when the gps also says 60 mph.

If not with a 5.2 0-60 mph (if you weren't spinning) my initial guess would be that you would be running an 8.5-8.7 sec 1/8 mile at 75-78 mph on a track
Not impossible but it does seem a bit quick on average for your mods
Have you ever run it on a track?

Take a look at his profile page. He posted images of the tire size measured. And its right. Its just hard believe. If everything is right, which after talking to him it sounds like it is, its just a pretty damn quick truck for the mods he listed.

He have a 4x4 or 4x2? That'll shave some time.

I'd guess closer to a programmed 30.25 but that's not all that much difference.
Thinking spinning will lead to misleading resusts too..
Really need track times figure out how it really is.
On the quck end of average... I do know some simialr modded RC's that run that time plus a mild cam on street tires and one QC that ran close to those sort of times with just superchps, tires and lots of wieght reduction.. (stock exhaust manifolds)
So guess next question is what sort of ET does it log for the 60, 330, and 1/8
I'd really like to see a timeslip, does sound like pretty quick truck that would be even quicker on a set of drag radials.

If I was you I'd hunt up some drag radials. if you can run 8.20 in the 1/8 you can make it into the 12's in the 1/4 and the smaller diameter and weight of the DR's can shave a couple of tenths off in the 1/8 as well as your 0-60 mph times.

Maybe someone swapped a Sidewinder in his truck somewhere along the way.

I was wondering something similar. Like did someone do work before the the truck was his. If someone swapped 4.56 or a cam/heads there would be no way for him to know.... right?

lol no it'd probably be faster than that with the mods.
less it just sat there and spun.

You ever done your 0-60 mph?
Your PB 1/8:
R/T.....0.064
60'......1.913
330'....5.496
mph....62.69
1/8......8.527
mph....79.68

That's 0 - 62.7 mph in 5.49 seconds
Offhand I'd rough guess your 0-60 mph to be about 5.2 seconds.

Which is exactly what I claimed, lol....That is still hauling the mail for a 5,330 lbs quad cab.

Headed to Kennedale??

about to work up some motivation to go swap tires
Best air will be when the track opens at 2 and go downhill from there as the wind picks up and the humidity starts rising.
So we better get there early

I need to run by my house in Euless and pickup my drag radials for Red Ram out of my garage.

I will be in the Titan...To scared to drive the Ram all the way out there with the OD clutches gone, because its only a matter of time before I lose 3rd.

Can a 2nd gen get in on this ?

Non boosted launch in 4X4 .

NOW that I have my new lift pump installed and can do a boost launch I will be lower , but non boosted I think its a great time . Boosted at 15 psi I want to see mid to high 4's . Witch is doable now with the boost cooler .
