Damn that's fast for a QC! My best to date is 6.67. That's hot Teach! Good job man!

Thanks man! I took her out the other day to try another run bc it was a little cooler out but there was too much traffic. Hopefully the next time it cools off I can get some runs in.

Red: Been readin your updates here and there. I know your waitin to hear back from SC, but may need to pursue those PCM Fixers mentioned on other Post.
Trup: Nice Time, Before Torque Converter install and no tire spin best 6.59 (3:55's and Cam)
John: Ha, Ha, Awesome, Prolly Best 2500 Time and Close to 6.33 (Silver I think)
Teach: I want to be there! Priced my Gears install Today at The "Gear Shop"

Data Log Really sucks now with the Tire Spin, So I'm Thinkin now in order to recover and get some good times back I will need alot more Torque to the wheels and am hoping the 4:56 and Auburn will fix that coupled with some launch technique and help from the Crazy Spartan and Ported TB and CAI (Thats the plan).
ETA, new Cam 30 Days, Gears 60-90.

So Heres my Question )Yep I got one), Data Log Really sucks now with the Tire Spin, So I'm Thinkin now in order to recover I will need alot more Torque to the wheels and understand perhaps the 4:56 and Auburn should fix that coupled with some technique and the Crazy Spartan.

Do you know someone that has a company account at the gear center in Edmonton. I got my front and rears for 583$ using a company account. Thats CDN as well. So yeah if you know someone who works in heavy mechanical industry they will have a company account there and go nuts.

No Company Account, Using the one in the Hat, And They have done 1500's before and the Tech who will do it is also the Boss (10 years experience) The Parts are only 200 more than Moe's (incl LSD) It's the Labour at 99.75 per hour, so i'm gonna drop off both Diffs to them and then replace my sagging rear leafs upon re-install, and also buy the fluids myself.

There's another Test & Tune tomorrow at the local strip. If SC get back to me today I makes some runs. Jason(SC) said they usually take 24-48 hours to update a file so I should get it today. Wish me luck...

I should be in the high sixes; Damn wheel spin. With the 91 tune. After three trips to the metal joint. ( aluminum siding, netted 100 bucks) I pretty much used up all my 93 octane. managed one 0-60. trip with wheel spin, 7.61. Launched thru the gears nicely. But now I'm on a mileage xs tune with 89. and a 5900 rpm shift, major drop off at the limiter. hhmmm? I think I should tone it back too 5800. Any thoughts. The motor seems too cut off at 5900, never did that before. But it does now.

What are your WOT shift points and rev limiter set at?

At 5900 rev limiter. shift points are stock. The 0-60 was with the 91 tune. I decresed the tune (if you will). But increased the rev limiter, shoulda left it alone? ya think?

Not really, when I was using the SC my rev limiter was set to 6300 and then WOT was 6100 and 6050 (old 3815) and it gave me the best times

Rocket, On my truck if I bang against the factory rev limiter it cuts of sharply, if you are getting KR the timing is being pulled and the engine just slows. With the gas we have in my area I use nothing but 93 octane and the 91 tune. This seemed to work the best for me. Unfortunately I am still stuck between tuners, as I haven't been able to load the new SC3865 yet. Becareful and don't induce uncontrolled Knock. Very small amount of knock is allowable but none is what we are really looking for. There is plenty of evidence that knock will damage our engines. I'm just throwing the warning since you appear to be using differnt octane ranges and making runs.
