Hi, I changed the fluid about 2,000 miles ago with Amsoil sever gear, I also added a bottle of Mopar Friction modifier, During slow tight turns and I think it does it more on right turns Ill get a little bit of chatter and the wheel will also spin a little ( Right turn rear right tire will spin )

How much chatter is normal? Should I add a bit more modifier? I was thinking of adding ford this time as this is what the dodge dealer recommended to me ( I bought the mopar stuff anyway ).

Did you have the pinion nut recall done yet? Only have my case to relate to, but since I bought the truck, it would "shudder" in the rear when turning from a stop. My pinion nut was actually loose, they rebuilt the entire rear diff.

Now I have no shudder at all. Just sayin'.

I was just at the dealer and they said truck is not one under the recall, I looked it does not look loose. Only does it on real tight turns and slow.

You can add a bit more friction modifier but I'd put in the same stuff as you used during the most recent change.

My experience with this stuff is that the mfgr's recommendation on quantity to use isn't always enough for it to work properly.

One other thing I've done with posi's is to add the modifier then do a few figure 8 turns to slosh it around across the posi-clutches.

I am starting to wonder if it is normal as it only does it during really tight turns. I can go in circles no problem, but if I turn real sharp leaving drive way itll chatter.
