I have a 05 5.7 Hemi. I do a decent amount of towing, my trailer is 7,600lb GVW. We made a trip from where we live in PA to a campground in Western NC. Engine temp got decently hot and I made it home with a warped exhaust manifold. We are going again and I don't want to repeat with the same problem, so...

I'm considering replacing the radiator... Does anyone know if the stock ORM radiator is steel or aluminum, and if it is a 1 or 2 row?

Check your cats them going bad can make a engine run hot .Radiator aluminum I have never heard of steel but brass yes you can check around but I have bought two radiators for two cars of mine off Ebay. They work real good also flush the crap out of that engine. If nothing hasn't been changed since the truck was new all new hoses would on my list too.

It's a 2 core aluminum and definitely do as fastf suggested, flush your system. In fact, you may want to consider doing a super flush
