Anyone else have issues with a random miss mostly in the higher gears, thinking it may be a coil pack issue.

Is the check engine light on? Does it ever flash while driving?

Is the truck hard to start or do you have any other performance issues?

I would get a scan tool connected to this truck and perform a test drive while watching the misfire monitor to see if it is actually recording a misfire.

That will be the only way to know for sure if a misfire exists. Then go from there so you don't waist a bunch of money throwing parts at it.

Any codes? Should identify the missing cylinder. Inspect the spark plug to that cylinder. If dirty or excessive gap replace the plugs.. if miss continues, swap the coil with another cylinder and see if code follows the coil. If it does replace the coil...
