Is it a 4x4?
#1 Exhaust manifold bolts.

About to pull the trigger on a 09 1500 crew cab with hemi and around 47k miles. What should I expect as far as reliability and problems.

My sister is also hoping on pulling the trigger on a 09 1500, but with a lot more than 47K miles.

Problems and reliability will be based on it's before life (previous ownership treating). I'd check into that. Damage, Malfunctions, etc.

2009 being the year of beauty change (design) for the Ram 1500. I overall will highly recommend it (with that fact, that it's 4x4)...it has a lot of potential for the year and miles declared.

Search here in the Engine & Performance section, the early 4th gen years had a lot of lifter failures and wiped cams. Not cheap to fix.

Original owner of my 09 4x4. 180,000 miles and going strong. Only problem was exhaust manifold bolts broke. Had them repaired under powertrain warranty.

09 5.7 w/130k+ and still going. I'd get it....
