I can measure it tomorrow (its not here with me) - but I'm not sure I want to split it yet. Selling a single sub ... well, I'll cross that bridge after I measure it

Ok yep, I totally understand that, I've just been looking for a 10" box with more air space and sealed and it seems the only way I'm going to get that is fiberglass. Definitely not up for making one myself and I've already got a sweet JL sub or I'd buy the setup.

From the top to bottom, 7.5". The sub is flush mounted, so remove an inch for that.

Let me know if thats deep enough, we'll go from there!

That seems like the ticket, I only need 5.9" max, the part I'm looking at now is the flush mount. I'm wondering how hard it would be to put a trim ring on or something if my sub outer diameter doesn't sit flush in the opening on yours.
