12 inch upgrade heater issue

I upgraded my radio from 5 to 12 and now have quirky temp control issues. Mostly the heater. Any idea on the fix? I’m guessing it needs different sensors as the new unit is automatically controlling the temperature. I think there was a thread on here that spelled this out but I can’t find it.

You need to add to the vehicle the cabin sensor and wiring. This will allow auto temp to work correctly. We sell the harness if you want to pick one up plus it comes with the cabin sensor.
