I just found one interesting thing on 13MY headlights with lens and need some advices. The lens for low beam seems to have a shutter/cutter as is usually used in bixenon headlamps/lenses. When I switch the high beam on, another position of low beam shutter in lens is activated together with switching on of high beam lamps. But when I just blink with the high beam the high beam lamps only are activating. Any thoughts how to make the lens blinking too? I've a 4300K HID so it would be like on true bixenon headlights if I could activate that stuff.

Another interesting thing is that my friend has a restyled 10MY truck with 13MY headlamps and there he got low beam lens blinking together with a high beam lamps, so I thought it lays somewhere in wiring or light box switching module. Here is his vid:

Okay the way your headlights are operating right now is normal.

With the headlight switch in the off position and you flick the high beams only the high beam bulb comes on. This is the same for trucks that came from the factory with Quad headlamps.

Now as to your buddies 2010. I will go ahead and throw a guess out there and say he might have had the dual headlights before he swapped the 13's in. He may have a diode installed that keeps the low and high beams on whenever the high beams are hit.

As I said before normally if your headlights are off and you press the high beams only the high beam bulb should get power. I am guessing his acts differently because of the diode. When he hits the high beams the high beam bulb gets power, the diode sends power to the lows, and you get both coming on without actually having the headlight on.

Well, actually it seems to be not so ease. First it is not clear for me why the lens has a shutter which changes the light low to high. If it is so, then Chrysler could build a normal bixenon or simple bihalogen headlights with projectors only, without separate high beam section. Second is yes, I do want to have a blinking with my HID in projectors. The problem will occur, as I now understand, with the lights in off position...

As for restyled 10th it does not have any diodes in low/high beams and yes, it has had a usual dual headlights before.
