1998 Ram 1500 headlamp bulbs

I want the brightest headlight bulbs possible for my 1998 Ram 1500 4x4.
I do not want to have to change any of the original wiring or make any upgrades except the bulbs. In other words, want to keep all stock except bulbs. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Unless things have changed since I had my 1995 Dodge 2500, your pretty limited on what headlight bulbs if you want to keep everything stock. LED's just made things bright, but didn't offer much for seeing down the road. If yours is a "Sport" package you can make better light. If not, what I found that was the best for me were the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. There was a place in PA where the person was very knowledgeable on lighting. I don't know how much they could help today, but i guess it is worth a shot. It was called Susquehanna Motorsports. I'll enclose the link info.

I just installed the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras, definitely brighter than the stock bulbs, happy with them so far.

This ^^^^^^^ It is what I run in my 1996 2500. Much better than the stock bulbs.
