1999 Dodge ram 1500 cracked exhaust

I've been having a problem where my truck will turn on in the am when it's cold then have troubles turning on in the heat i.e spuddering till it dies or fire up beautiful then dies 10 sec later. I have a crack in my exhaust between the O2 sensors.

1. What can I do to fix it
2. Can I use jb weld or other exhaust repair putty or wrap?

I would take it to the local muffler shop and have them fix it with a welder. A quick $20 and it's done. I wouldn't waste my money on JB Weld or exhaust wraps or putty. It will only come apart. Get it fixed right and move on with your diagnosis.
