1st impressions of the Bullydog GT Hemi Plus 11-12

Bullydog saw 32hp/28tq on the dyno with this tuner. I actually spoke to the guy who truck was used for the testing last week, and he was there to watch the pull. This has been a great performing tuner for the money.

Wow, did that truck have any mods? I know seat of the pants feel is great with the Bully Dog but I didn't expect that much.

He said that his truck was stock and running the performance tune with 93 octane. I think 25hp/tq is a more realistic number that most guys will see/feel, but regardless, it is a very noticeable improvement.

Also, they will be releasing a new update later this week to address the DRL issue that hasn't been working for everyone.

And finally, they have a 2013 in the shop

Great numbers! I will be very happy with that.. thanks for the info! I wonder what difference flowmaster and cai would make in addition to the bully.. .. i felt a bit of a tq loss with just the flowmaster... might have seen a bit more open top end..

The Flowmaster isn't going to show any performance gain, but adding a Vararam cold air intake will make a very nice increase in performance along with the tuner.

I just got my 2013 beta invite though I'm wondering if I should be a guinea pig this early, also wondering if I should just wait it out till diablo supports '13 cause they will have custom tunes by people like hemifever

As of last week, Bullydog had a couple 2013's in the shop that they were working on. I haven't heard any feedback from others yet, but I do know that Bullydog is working on this as we speak.

I know this is old thread but they now have a tune for the '13 with the 8 speed, will have mine Friday!
