I'm still baffled that you don't get the glove box standard. Odd.

No map lights either (not that I care)
I do wish for 2 things though. A leather wrapped steering wheel and the under the middle seat storage.

Just looking at the mods for the Express truck, (the parts not included) just makes me appreciate my 04 Ram a lot more. but i understand adding the things it doesn't come with.

I'm trying to do things to mine that the Laramie has that mine doesn't have.

I took it to the dealership Monday for a wind whistle. Dropped it off with 750 miles and more than half a tank of gas. They finally got it fixed yesterday after taking out the dash, the windshield etc... only to find the issue where I said it was when I dropped it off. In the HVAC air intake. I picked it up with empty gas light on 900 miles on the odometer and a scratched up tailgate. Kind of pissed. Called Chrysler and they offered me 4 oil changes for the inconvenience. Really? I thanked them for the gesture but I'm changing over to synthetic this weekend and doing it myself.
Dealership verbally agreed to fix the tailgate. We'll see how that goes.
As much as I love the truck I don't think I'll consider another Dodge in the future.

Am I over reacting here? Do I have any recourse to get some compensation or satisfaction?

Convert, for now.

Nope, stay after them. It's a great idea to take photos of mileage before service, and check afterwards...would prove your point that it was driven more than just a quick 'test drive'...

New bedliner in, looks great.

2 failed mods to report this weekend.
1. Bought a wheelskinz leather cover for the steering wheel as I really hate the texture of the rubber one on long trips. It works almost as advertised until you get to the bottom of the wheel where the gap you have to leave in the binding is so big because of the huge bottom spokes it doesn't fit right. $50 down the drain.
2. Cree back up led bulbs. bought on fleabay. about 25. shipped. I may have gone a little too dark on the rear window tint and was hoping to compensate with brighter reverse lights. These are whiter/bluer but don't have the lumen output of the stock bulb. Look nice but won't help me avoid backing over someone. If anyone has a better solution for back up lights let me know.
As always thanks for the help and support of the site.
Planning my first oil change for next weekend. Going to mobil 1 and k&n filter.

that sucks about the wheelskinz, I had thought about getting one of those sometime.

About the LED bulbs, check with RetroSolutions, JJ (0212353) uses them alot for his lighting needs.

Did my first oil change today at 946 mi. Added a magnetic oil plug. Man that factory filter was on there tight.
Finally got around to doing the interior air filter mod.

I'm still pissed about having 150 miles on the truck that I didn't put there but it is what it is. I love my truck and hate the idea of someone else driving it god knows how.

KevinRM & Fadeintoblue:

Please look at these pics and confirm I only need these parts:

Light/Switch - 4565022
Glove Box 1SF291DVAC

I have a glove box, just not with the USB port cutout. For now, I just routed my IPOD cable into the glove box, but I'd like to know that for a proper upgrade this is the 2 pieces I need.

Also, Anyone know what the red open plug up and left of the USB cable is?

$14 after shipping. LOL

I can get these as well (the TYC branded ones) - but shipping kills it too. I'm not sure how big these are for shipping, if I could just drop it at the post office in the box it comes in.......but if there is something else anyone is looking for from TYC - I'd toss the filter in with the other shipping. :D

Hemisport, based upon your pics that seems correct. Be patient getting the door back on. It's a serious PITA. I don't know what the red plug is, ,aybe for a light in the lower box?
I don't remember seeing it in my harness.

Been a couple weeks since I've done anything to the truck so I ordered a set of Retro's from Retro Solutions. Damn you JM for your quality product I can't live without...
Also had my favorite local muffler shop install a Magnaflow 14278 this morning for 190 installed. Did a nice job too.

Since my last fill up ran me over 80. I also sprung for a locking gas cap.

Sorry no pics, an ugly weather day here in Houston.p

Today's mod.
Bought a 430N off ebay. took all of 10 minutes to install. Truly plug and play.
