Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone can help me out with the rabbit hole of info I have found myself in.
I have a 2002 1500 with a 4.7 that is ready to spit a rod. I found a lead on a 2003 1500 4.7 that sounds in great shape. I figure the price is much cheaper than getting a new vehicle... which I can't really afford atm to be honest.
From what I can find via google has my head going in circles. According to this thread:
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/2002-ram-1500-4-7-engine-swap-to-2004-ram-1500-4-7.158522/
The 03 engine will require the pcm and harness from that truck, which is fine because they are selling that with the engine, however I am not sure if that will work with the transmission plugs, and the inside of the truck, the dash ect.
This guy is will to travel quite a ways to deliver it to me as well so that is great but I don't want to be stuck with a truck I can't drive in the end as this is my only means of transportation.
Cheers,
James
