Ok so my problem is this,

2003 Dodge Ram 2500HD 5.7 liter Hemi with 239,126 miles, 5 speed manual transmission upgraded rearend by dodge rated at 3 tons on the AAM 1150 with air Locker, 6 inch lift on 37 inch tires. Exhaust is stock with just the muffler removed. Have the Hemi tick but even once in a while I here a knock/clank rattle from the bottom end sounds like drivers side maybe more to the middle and I sometimes feel a slight vibration in the shifter. I've also shut the engine off a few times to have it make a clunking noise with a small movement. I did just notice I have a broken motor mount. This truck is ran hard 2 ton rock loads in the bed and drove like its stolen 7 days a week averaging 200-300 miles a week, oil changed every 3000 miles with valvoline High Mileage 10w30 with marvel mystery oil and Lucas oil treatment. I'm the 3rd owner of this truck and from what I can tell little to no maintenance was ever done to this truck. I've been slowly fixing all the issues as I can afford them. Only codes its throwing is p0420, p0571, p2121 and p2106. Cleaned the throttle body and the computer reset and a couple days later I got a check engine light but I haven't had time to check the codes again, and I have issues plugging into my obd2 port most of the time it fails to connect.

I'm planning on rebuilding the 5.7 with a stroker kit, but that's going to be a few months before I can get all the funds to get it into the shop. But still researching the build. This is my daily driver, and I'm a construction worker and this truck gets used hard, the last owner was a logger and again it was worked hard.

Have you pulled the pan, looked for pieces of metal? What about during an oil change - cut the filter open and look for metal?

Last oil change was 2 weeks ago, didn't find any metal at all in the oil, I didn't open the oil filter, but it's still in the shop, I'll try to cut it open tomorrow or Monday.
